The Zoom! Process
The Zoom! tooth whitening system uses a hydrogen peroxide-based gel to brighten your teeth. Before spreading the whitening gel on your teeth, Missouri Cosmetic Dentist Dr. Janes will place a protective covering on your lips and gums to prevent damage to these areas during the process. A special light is shone on your teeth to activate the whitening agent in the gel. Dr. Janes will administer a post-application fluoride treatment to enhance the results.
You will undergo three 15 minute application sessions. The total treatment time, including prep work, will last 90 minutes. Dr. Janes may provide you with additional take-home whitening trays to augment the process or for future touch-ups if you so desire.
It is important to remember that the results of the whitening process will diminish over time. Most likely, you will enjoy the benefits of the Zoom! tooth whitening system for several years before you need to undergo the entire process again.
