CEREC III - Our Latest Technology
The CEREC III system is revolutionizing how we serve our cosmetic dentistry patients in our Hannibal, Missouri and Quincy, Illinois offices. Before Dr. Janes invested in this amazing technology, any type of porcelain restorations, like dental crowns, porcelain veneers, and inlays and onlays, took two visits to our office and several weeks to complete.
Dr. Janes will take an optical impression with a digital camera, perfect the design with 3D software and then the CEREC milling unit will create your porcelain crown or veneer is just minutes. All that’s left to do is to make sure it fits correctly, that your bite feels right and then the porcelain is bonded to your tooth. All in about one hour.
